We were very excited to see the house in person after all this time.
It’s stunning. Really has turned out nicely. So many things we love about it. As an overall matter, it’s really close to the plans and models we had seen before (already impressive) and now that we are in the house, we are finding the space very usable and easy to navigate. The flow makes sense and it’s modern, comfortable and warm. We are enjoying a lot of the features that went into the design. The windows are wonderful. We love how the lights and lighting turned out.

As we wind down our project with you I just wanted to say how pleased we are in our new house.
ODS Architecture created a gem from our modern 1960s home in San Francisco. We employed the ODS team after extensively researching architectural firms with an eye towards modern simplistic lines. We were delighted with the professionalism, engagement, and final product.

We employed Ohashi Design Studio to reimagine our entire space. They designed a beautiful, modern home in our mid-century modern neighborhood. It was important to us to keep the single-story design. Alan, Philip and the rest of the team were responsive, professional and most of all, patient, as we went through the process of making all of the decisions necessary in a new build. They provided expert advice while allowing us to take ownership of some of the material choices. Our twins were two when we started the process, and they were always welcoming and accommodating to our boys during office visits.
We always remember Alan’s parting words to us, just as we gave him the verbal commitment…”You will be blown away.” And we are. We are living in our dream home, and feel fortunate to have worked with ODS.

We started working with ODS in the middle of the pandemic to do a whole home remodel. Having never done anything remotely like this before, ODS guided us through the entire process and were an invaluable resource and partner in all the decisions that we needed to make for a project of this size. Even though we didn’t have a clear idea of what we wanted at the beginning and our ideas changed throughout the process, we ended up with a home that we absolutely love living in. When we receive compliments on the design of our house, we are always quick to give credit to ODS for their vision of what could be done. ODS steadily moved the project through the numerous city requirements of planning reviews, neighborhood meetings, and permitting. They were great about knowing how to gently (sometimes directly) guide us towards good choices that we now recognize make a huge difference in how we use our space. Anytime we had questions, needed more information, or encountered issues with the project, ODS was quick to respond and offer solutions. We really can’t say enough about how great our experience has been with ODS and how pleased we are with the end result.
